In 1958, Don Alberto Pacas crossed the Pacas variety named after him with the large Maragogype to create the Pacamara variety.  In September of 2014, Starbuck's anounced an El Salvador Pacamara as one of it's three featured coffees as"Black Apron Exclusives".  

According to Maria Pacas Martinez, this specific microlot "is an amazing coffee and the natural process enhances its chocolate and fruit notes."
